Same Road, Different Paths Story Photos
Thank You, thank you, thank you to all the readers of my newest book SAME ROAD, DIFFERENT PATHS and for the many kind comments I’ve received. I truly appreciate your feedback.
Several readers have communicated that they would love it if there were photos to accompany the text. So, I rummaged around my old photo files & internet and found a few. Each photo relates to its corresponding book chapter & I’ve used the story’s fictional character names for the real-life people in the pics. I hope you’ll enjoy these and please feel free to share your comments.
(P.S. Should you see a photo of yourself among these old pics & object to being included, please let me know & I’ll be happy to remove it.)

Thank you, Michael, for posting these photos; enjoyed seeing the setting for your book.
Congrats on the fine work of art. I very much enjoyed your book. I think you lived a life that many of us can relate to from different angles. I was amazed at how parallel some of our experiences were. Different environments, different people, but much the same emotional, developmental experiences. I think your book resonates well with people. Movie script: perhaps. I have an acquaintance I might give it to. He produces some movies. Hope you don’t mind. It will probably go nowhere, but who knows.
Really enjoyed reading this book. The photos are a nice add. Interesting story of a MidAmerica teenager going out into the world experiencing wild adventures while at same time trying to get recognition from his father. The story goes from teen to adult and my take is that it should get traction from all age groups. Older readers will relate to the timeline and younger readers can get a dose of life’s adventures before the advent of smartphones.
Loved reading the book! And these photos just added a whole other dimension. Thank you.
I’ll repeat here the same review I left at Amazon Books ….
Based on a journal the author began keeping in his youth, the story unfolds in real-time-happening-right-now segments of his journaling, beginning with a father/son conflict that sends the protagonist-son off searching for love and adventure …. And boy does he find it!
A fun, exciting, heart touching read!
